BAGAVATAR DIES OF BRAIN HEMORRHAGE

One of the prominent supporting actor on big and small screen Bharat Bagavathar son of Honnappa Bagavathar the legend of yesteryears died on Saturday on account of brain hemorrhage in Bangalore. The 50 years Bharat Bagavathar leaves behind two daughters Laxmi and Megasri. Megasri is Kannada film and television actress.

Bagavathar started his career as a child actor in Hamsageethe of G.V.Iyer. Last year Hanumantha role he did for his joint production ‘Prachanda Ravana’ Kannada film has given him good recognition. A humble and simple personality who always looked trim and tidy was good in analysis on any subject.

Bagavathar acted in ‘Kempa’ Kannada film and his films like Hemavathi, Runamukthalu, Bidugadeya Bedi, Bangaradha Kalasha and various other films in 30 years of film career. The currently on air Badhuku television serial Bharat Bagavatar is in a prominent role.

The cremation of Bharat Bagavatar will take place on Sunday at Wilson Garden crematorium.

The beginning of January 2009 is very sad for Kannada filmdom. We have lost Raju Ananthaswamy ace singer and composer plus actor in comedy roles, later producer of ‘Sacha’ Madesha died. It all happened in one week is very sad for Kannada filmdom.
